Jack Okell

Senior Analyst & International Special Risks

Jack’s primary role at MHG is as a Senior Analyst. He is responsible for collating data, conducting high- and low-level data analysis, and internal and external reporting. Jack actively works within MHG’s Lloyd’s of London coverholder operation to ensure requirements are satisfied, and to improve MHG’s delegated authority capabilities. Jack also handles International Special Risks, assisting clients with sourcing cover appropriate for their needs from both the London market and wider company markets.

Jack initially came to MHG as part of the Isle of Man Government’s summer internship programme for Manx undergraduates. We were so impressed with the work he produced that we had to make him an offer he couldn’t refuse! Jack joined MHG in 2016 as a Trainee and has since been promoted to the position he holds today.

Jack is a long-distance runner and regularly competes internationally, including representing the Isle of Man in the biennial Island Games. He was also the youngest ever member to be elected onto the Isle of Man Astronomical Society Committee, a position he held for three years.
