Cathy Lane

Managing Director, European Operations

Cathy Lane is the Managing Director of European Operations for MHG Insurance. In this role, she serves as the compliance officer and oversees all operations throughout Europe, including the Isle of Man office and its satellite offices.

Before joining MHG in 2011, Cathy spent eight years as a local Independent Financial Adviser, specializing in mortgages and all forms of personal insurance. During that time she launched a new division for a local insurance brokerage, specializing in life and health, private medical insurance, and income protection. Ever adaptable, she has now switched to the marine industry and is enjoying it immensely. Cathy stays involved with the industry through various organizations, including the Chartered Insurance Institute (Cii), the Isle of Man Maritime Group and the Isle of Man Superyacht Forum.

Cathy used to work two weeks per year as a camera assistant filming the Isle of Man TT races and can even be seen in the movie "TT3D : Closer to the Edge."
