Jack is the Senior Manager, Underwriting Services at MHG, and helps oversee the department’s day-to-day activities in addition to working closely with our underwriting partners and supporting our European producers' needs.
Alongside his management responsibilities, Jack handles standard and non-standard marine accounts and serves as a key contact for several of MHG’s largest European producers. He works with our underwriter partners on data analysis and reporting and supports MHG’s Lloyd’s of London coverholder operations, helping ensure requirements are met and processes continue to improve. Jack also works with a network of non-Lloyd’s insurance markets, ensuring clients find appropriate coverage.
Jack joined MHG in 2016 through the Isle of Man Government’s summer internship program for Manx undergraduates. Following a successful internship, he joined MHG as a Trainee and has since progressed through the company to his current role as Senior Manager, Underwriting Services.
In 2025, Jack earned the Chartered Insurance Institute Diploma in Insurance (DipCII).
Jack is a long-distance runner and regularly competes internationally, including representing the Isle of Man in the biennial Island Games. He was also the youngest ever member to be elected onto the Isle of Man Astronomical Society Committee, a position he held for three years.
