Cathy Lane is the Managing Director of European Operations for MHG Insurance. In this role, she serves as the Head of Compliance and oversees all operations throughout Europe, which includes the Isle of Man and its satellite offices.
Before joining MHG in 2011, Cathy spent eight years as a local Independent Financial Adviser, specializing in mortgages and all forms of personal insurance. During that time, she launched a new division for a local insurance brokerage, specializing in Life and Health, Private Medical insurance, and Income Protection.
Cathy has been an Executive Committee member of Isle of Man Maritime since 2019. Isle of Man Maritime is a not-for-profit organization, which was formed to develop, support and promote the Isle of Man’s maritime sector internationally and works closely with both the Isle of Man Government and Ship Registry to connect regulation, commercial services, innovation, and people.
Cathy is a lifelong Geek and has just been invited to join her local community's Geek Counsel, to bring people together through unashamedly geeky events and experiences.
